I am learning to fly at only 15 years of age - before I can even learn to drive a car! It is the best thing...and as  the hours from RA-Aus flying count toward my commercial licence, I am thinking of furthering my training to General Aviation later on and hopefully become a commercial pilot someday. RA-Aus makes it fun and affordable to get started! I can't wait until I fly the big jets, but for now, RA-Aus is pretty cool too.

I started flying at age 20 with General Aviation. I used to fly 20-30 year old aircraft, but since joining RA-Aus I fly brand new aircraft and it is heaps cheaper! I am currently flying the Jabiru J230D - it cruises at 120kt and even has an EFIS panel, really high tech. Best thing I ever did was get my RA-Aus Pilot Certificate! I love to take my mates up for a fly, they love it too

I love to surf - I get totally amped out there! Nothing better than the anticipation and then after heaps of ankle busters, catch the bitchin choka wave before I eat it and start it all again! I also love to fly, but I didn't thnk I had the smarts for it. Know what? I tried RA-Aus flying, loved it & passed all my tests & exams. I fly over the surf at 500 feet sometimes, usually when its too glassy for a surf, so cool!
